In Val D'Aosta - due

Una passeggiata più in alto dovevamo farla! Abbandonati i freschi prati, eccoci in un sentiero molto in alto, per fortuna la salita la facciamo in auto e poi in marcia! Incontriamo un bel cane agitato, scopriamo che si è innamorato, gli accompagnatori della cagnolina hanno uno stile molto alternativo, sembrano usciti dall'isola di wright, ma sono degli snob del cavolo, non danno al povero cane neanche uno sguardo di simpatia... Brutta gente!

Secondo noi questo è il castello più bello della Val D'Aosta Orientale, ma è solo la nostra opinione..

Apparteneva alla famiglia degli Challant, la forma attuale del castello risale al XV secolo.

Gli affreschi del portico sono stupefacenti, illustrano la vita quotidiana. Sugli affreschi ci sono antiche scritte fatte dai viandanti, un tempo di riteneva bene augurante lasciare un segnale del proprio passaggio, un'opinione, un consiglio... Quando ancora non esistevano i social network! In Val D'Aosta...

Se non avessimo avuto questa settimana di vacanza a luglio e la possibilità di scappare in Val D'Aosta non so cosa sarebbe rimasto di me, forse solo un cumulo di cenere, come nella migliore tradizione "vampiresca".

Luglio è stato terribile, e anche in Val D'Aosta il caldo si faceva sentire. Per fortuna abbiamo trovato tre graziose casette piuttosto in alto, dove la temperatura era piacevole; inoltre abbiamo messo da parte un po' la cultura (ci siamo persi il Forte di Bard e il Museo della Resistenza, ma rimedieremo..) preferendo le camminate tra i boschi, in alto tra queste bellissime e famose montagne!

July was terrible, and also in Val D'Aosta heat was felt. Mentre qualcuno raccoglie mirtilli, qualcun'altra gioca a fare la Diva ;)-

Torniamo verso Perloz, dove ci fermiamo per una tipica merenda "valdostana", fatta di salumi, salsiccette e formaggi arricchiti con nocciole... In questo piccolo paese, oltre a un buon posto dove mangiare (l'unico, non potete sbagliare!)c'è il castello Valleisa, purtroppo danneggiato dai nazi-fascisti durante l'ultima guerra. E poi una chiesa del seicento, con un grandioso "Giudizio Universale".

Andiamo verso il paese di Pont-Saint Martin, qui fa troppo caldo e non c'è neanche un bar aperto anche se abbiamo mangiato abbastanza, non c'è spazio neanche per un gelato! Quindi andiamo subito a vedere il Ponte Romano, un vero spettacolo! E' stato edificato nel primo secolo a.C. e ancora ci possiamo camminare sopra! Una grande opera di ingegneria! Da vedere!

Il mattino dopo siamo già per sentieri, questa volta a Champorcher, un punto di partenza e di relax! Il giorno è lungo, le cose da fare e vedere tante così ce la prendiamo comoda e qui si sta bene anche con una felpa, evviva!

Marco è contrariato perchè abbiamo trovato la funivia chiusa, io invece sono contenta!! Così lui è diventato un folletto di montagna dispettoso ;)- Ma anch'io non sono da meno!
