Una festa organizzata da Swing Mood in un luogo perfetto, musica dal vivo, lezione introduttiva di lindy hop e una cornice da sogno (o da incubo... dipende se avete visto "Shining" oppure no... qui siamo probabilmente nel vero Overlook Hotel!) e poi tante amici e compagni di "studi" da salutare e abbracciare..

Questo luogo è il trionfo dello stile Liberty e dell'art decò! Un paradiso per gli occhi, soprattutto per chi ama la decandenza maliziosa della Belle Epoque!

Le varie acque termali si possono bere, ma qualche perplessità lascia questa lapide deicata alla Curie e all'acqua radioattiva di Montecatini (due fonti radioattive sono state rimosse recentemente, e la città per precauzione è stata inaccessibile per la durata dei lavori), invece Marco ha appena visto un fantasma oppure era il barman? Comunque sperìttacolari le decorazioni... volevo una sedia a sdrai per poterle osservare con calma ma.. niente. Abbiamo ballato (le solite figuracce!!!)...

Così siamo finiti alla stazione ferroviaria di Pescia, un posto molto più modesto e maltrattato dal popolo, davanti al distributore automatico di bibite calde, cioccolata calda sia anche se, per questa volta, non è molto etica. Comunque Marco qui è indignato perchè nessuno fa la raccolta differenziata alla stazione: che popolo di buzzurri che siamo!

Io sono stanchissima (è stato un giorno lunghissimo!) e Nerone, per fortuna, è tornato ad essere il solito gattino, feticista ma tranquillo!

Il SOTTO_POST MATTINIERO

mmmhhhh questa mattina, a colazione, un bell'incontro Nord-Sud e, al centro, due golosi!

In un luogo piacevole, una tarda mattina di gennaio, quando il sole ha la meglio sul gelo pungente di questi giorni. Decidiamo di fare una passeggiata, un po' borghese per la verità ma... perdonateci! La destinazione è Montecatini Alto, per fortuna deserta, ristoranti e locali quasi tutti chiusi, silenzio e cielo azzurro (non perfetto, ma non possiamo lamentarci troppo).

In a pleasant place, a late January morning, when the sun has the better of the frost biting these days. We decide to take a walk, a little 'bourgeois for the truth but ... forgive us! The destination is Montecatini Alto, fortunately deserted, restaurants and almost all closed, silent and blue sky (not perfect, but we can not complain too much).

Qui il romanico  si fonde e mescola con lo stile tipico dei paesi di montagna, si inorgoglisce insieme al neo gotico,  che saluta dall'alto lo stile liberty tipico di Montecatini Terme e tracce di ingiustizie sopportate durante l'ultima guerra, tutto questo  purtroppo deve incontrare e sopportare un'altro stile tipico dell'Italia tutta: quello della mafia.

Storie vecchie di infiltrazioni mafiose, storie vecchie e forse dimenticate dalla maggioranza degli abitanti di queste parti (la dimenticanza, altra bellezza tipica dell'Italia), indagini che hanno bloccato la destinazione d'uso, ma non i lavori andati avanti per chissà quanto tempo. Il tempo necessario affinché restasse questo ennesimo monumento al cemento armato, alla distrazione delle belle arti, alla mafia che tutto può e che è una realtà florida di tutta una nazione, nonostante i bei discorsi istituzionali.

L'abbigliamento di oggi accontenta e vizia questi luoghi, un abito in stile anni'70, che diventa inizio secolo con accessori che potrebbero essere stati parti di qualche divisa militare del periodo napoleonico, oppure no... questo è un gioco, questa è vita, questa è bohéme...
