Con un po' di soffranza diciamo "ciao" a Carghjese, dove abbiamo trascorso quattro giorni piacevoli e pieni di attività, tra i work shop del festival Swing, le feste la sera e la vita da spiaggia. Carghjese è forse l'unico villaggio della Corsica in cui una strada passa in mezzo ad abitazioni e attività commerciali, dove la chiesa (anzi! le due Chiese!) sono in centro, il porticciolo poco più in basso, le spiagge a pochi minuti di auto (sono quattro spiagge, noi ne abbiamo frequentate solo due... sarà un valido motivo per tornare?!), infatti i centri abitati della Corsica sono sparsi in piccoli agglomerati distanti l'uno dall'altro...

With a little 'soffranza say "hello" to Carghjese, where we spent four days pleasant and full of activities, including workshops of Swing festivals, feasts in the evening and the beach life. Carghjese is perhaps the only Corsican village where a road passes through to homes and businesses, where the church (on the contrary! The two Churches!) Are in the center, a little further down the marina, the beaches just a few minutes car (there are four beaches, we do have attended only two ... will be a valid reason to come back ?!), in fact the towns of Corsica are scattered in small clusters distant from each other ...

Il nostro viaggio sarà molto avventuroso, queste sono strade della Corsica dobbiamo tenerne conto, il precipizio e il monte aspro e raccioso ci terranno compagnia per lungo tempo, la destinazione è la bella Calvi (si, la città di Letizia Casta!!!), per arrivarci lasceremo la via consigliata per una che non appare nelle mappe ufficiali, e quando la fame si farà sentire ci fermeremo in un luogo sperduto per un pastice e un buon pranzo in uno di quei ristoranti che non trovi su Trip Adviser...

Il paesaggio ci regala scorci suggestivi; la macchia mediterranea e i suoi aromi resi ancora più forti dal sole infuocato sopra le nostre teste, spiagge da sogno quasi deserte e poi le spettacolari Calanche di Piana.

Prima di pranzo abbiamo il tempo di ammirare il "cimitero diffuso" di automobili lungo le strade impervia e un salvataggio in elicottero, poi...cibo!

Questi luoghi da far west sono davvero pieni di sorprese, attraversiamo anche una zona in cui c'è il rischio di essere colpiti da una mitragliatrice! WOW! Questa SI CHE è UNA VACANZA AVVENTUROSA, dopo l'esplosione di Bastia, oggi assistiamo alle esercitazioni dell'esercito francese... la Corsica è davvero molto militarizzata, sappiamo bene perché e, se non vi dispiace, vorrei gridare un "Fuori dalla Nato" che ci sta sempre bene un po' come un bel "No alla guerra".

E finalmente, dopo aver macinato diversi chilometri di deserto, arriviamo a Calvi. Fa caldissimo ed è abbastanza turistica, almeno così sembra nel parcheggio, ma poi per fortuna la cittadella è abbastanza deserta e silenziosa.
Calvi è stata prima fedele a genova, poi alla Francia. Oggi è una città molto francese e molto militarizzata, c'è una mostra sugli ultimi equipaggiamenti della Legione Straniera, la visitiamo (il luogo è molto fresco), ma quello che vediamo è poco rassicurante. Forse per tutti questi motivi Calvi non ci sta tanto simpatica, comunque la parte più in basso è molto carina, tanti negozi, molto colori, la Chiesa è tipicamente genovese, e soprattutto qui abbiamo potuto comprare il "the best of" degli Arcusgi, il nostro gruppo preferito! EVVIVA!!!

And finally, after having ground several kilometers of desert, we arrive at Calvi. It is very hot and is quite touristy, so it seems in the parking lot, but luckily the citadel is quite deserted and silent.
Calvi was first faithful to Genoa, then to France. Today is a very French town and very militarized, there is an exhibition on the latest equipment of the Foreign Legion, the visit (the place is very cool), but what we see is not very reassuring. Perhaps for all these reasons we Calvi is not so nice, however, the lower part is very pretty, lots of shops, very color, the Church is typically Genoese, and above all we could here buy the "best of" of Arcusgi, the our favorite band! HOORAY !!!
