on the road: verso Urbino...

Una fuga ci sta sempre bene.
Il viaggio in luoghi isolati  e selvaggi è stato terapeutico. Urbino, i suoi dintorni e la natura sorpresa durante il tardo inverno sono stati una vera iniezione di pura bellezza, e anche tanta fatica! Cerctamente se io abitassi a Urbino non avrei bisogno di andare in palestra!
Viaggiare è bello, conoscere luoghi e scoprire l'Italia centrale ha un sapore ancora più dolce: così poco si parla di questa zona dell'Italia, oltre il sud e il nord  spesso non si sente parlare di altro... Poi arrivano i terremoti, la distruzione, la disperazione... allora ecco che si parla di Italia Centrale.
Ma qui nelle Marche il terremoto non ha fatto danni, i danni peggiori gli hanno fatti i mezzi di informazione, così ecco il calo del turismo e danni economici a una regione che merita moltissimo (tra l'altro la campagna è pulita e quasi esente da degrado, le città pulitissime, anche Urbino nonostante sia una città universitaria, come Pisa, che però spesso è una fogna e covo di maleducati). Insomma.. partire è sempre una buona idea!

 Lungo la strada, dopo Sansepolcro, ci siamo fermati a San Giustino sperando di mangiare qualcosa, ma un signora a cui abbiamo chiesto informazioni ci ha detto che non c'erano ristoranti, infatti era vero... lei ci ha offerto un piatto di pasta dicendo "sono una brava cuoca", sono cose molto preziose queste, abbiamo parlato un po', dopo siamo ripartiti, a lamoli abbiamo finalmente trovato una trattoria, abbiamo mangiato molto bene e intorno il paesaggio era davvero suggestivo: come s eil tempo si fosse fermato, e gli umani fossero diventati del giusto numero.. pochi! Il silenzio e la tranquillità.. sono già vacanza!

Along the way, after Sansepolcro, we stopped in San Giustino hoping to eat something, but a lady who we asked told us that there were no restaurants, it was true ... she offered us a plate of pasta saying "I am a good cook," these are very precious things, we talked a bit ', after we left, a Lamoli we finally found a restaurant, we ate very well and the scenery around was really impressive: as s andthe time had He stopped, and the humans had become the right number .. a few! The silence and tranquility .. are already holiday!

Dopo un po' di riposo corriamo verso Urbino. Una luogo incredibile, il Palazzo Ducale ti fa sentire piccolo, sembra il castello della Bella Addormentata e forse lo è... Di sicuro Ludwig si è ispirato a questo capolavoro di architettura rinascimentale per il suo Neuschwanstein!
Una città con moltii giovani, un po' troppo tranquilli di fronte a quello a cui siamo abituati a Pisa, però va bene così. Noi evitiamo la pietanza tradizionale di Urbino (la crescenza, una sorta di piadina rinforzata) e preferiamo la cecina (qui la chiamano "farinata" come in Liguria), ne fanno una variante anche con i carciofi, ottima! E poi camminiamo tantissimo, non so quanto ma Urbino di notte ci ha stregato e io ho ancora i polpacci doloranti, tra salite, discese, salite...!

After a while 'to run off towards Urbino. An incredible place, the Ducal Palace makes you feel small, it seems the castle of Sleeping Beauty and maybe it is ... Sure Ludwig was inspired by this masterpiece of Renaissance architecture for its Neuschwanstein!
A city with moltii young, a bit 'too quiet compared to what we are used to Pisa, but that's okay. We avoid the traditional dish of Urbino (crescenza, a kind of flat bread reinforced) and prefer the cecina (here called "porridge" in Liguria), also make it a variant with artichokes, excellent! And then I walk a lot, I do not know how much but Urbino night has bewitched us and I still have sore calves, between ascents, descents, climbs ...!

ispirazioni: LUDWIG

Il 13 febbraio 1883 moriva a Venezia uno dei più grandi e contraddittori compositori europei, Richard Wagner. Sono sempre stata affascinata dai suoi lavori, per me materia di studio molti, molti anni fa e un po' infastidita dalla sua vita e dalla sua tendenza a sfruttare gli altri! Ma se non l'avesse fatto non avremmo mai avuto i suoi capolavori e se un'artista non è capace di pretendere per creare allora, semplicemente non è un'artista! 

In questi ultimi giorni sto DIVORANDO la biografia di Luigi II di Wittelbach, Ludwig re di Baviera. Altro personaggio che mi ha sempre affascinato e un po' condizionato. Abbiamo visitato  quasi tutti i suoi castelli , luoghi oggi tanto affascinati quanto turistici, difficile immaginare il sovrano che viveva il più possibile in solitudine, scambiando la notte per il giorno e attorniato da una corte amichevole ma immaginaria (composta da Maria Antonietta, Luigi XIV ...)in mezzo a queste moltitudini di turisti in pantaloncini e magliette della Decatholn con tanto di marsupi e zainetti tecnici!

The February 13, 1883 died in Venice one of the largest and contradictory European composers, Richard Wagner. I have always been fascinated by his work, for me a subject of study many, many years ago and a bit 'annoyed by his life and by his tendency to exploit others! But if he had not, we would not have had his masterpieces and if an artist is not able to demand to create then, is simply not an artist!

In recent days I'm eating up the biography of Louis II of Wittelbach, King Ludwig of Bavaria. Another character that has always fascinated me and a little 'affected. We visited almost all its castles, now so fascinated as tourist places, hard to imagine the king who lived in solitude as much as possible, exchanging the night for the day and surrounded by a friendly court but fictional (made up of Marie Antoinette, Louis XIV. ..) in the midst of these multitudes of tourists in shorts and t-shirts of Decatholn complete with fanny packs and technical backpacks or dresses H & M made in China!

Lo stile che suggerisce il personaggio di Ludwig, il suo mondo fatto di cavalieri senza macchia e principesse dal cuore puro e dalle fattezze di fata, pretenderebbe dettagli fioriti, sangalli e pizzi abbinati ai tessuti più severi, tipici della baviera e del Tirolo. Trecce e corsetti, ma anche scarpe comode perchè il sovrano era un'instancabile visitatore notturno di boschi e valli, anche in pieno inverno, anche durante una tormenta di neve!

Tra i castelli che ho visitato Neuschwanstein è certamente il più scenografico, ispirò Walt Disney ed impossibile, quando si comincia ad intravedere   dallo Schloss Hohenschwangau non restare sorpresi e chiedersi se sia vero o solo un miraggio... Ma in assoluto il mio preferito è il piccolo scrigno di Linderhof, in stile neo rococò, ogni dettaglio degli interni è stupefacente e assolutamente unico. Ogni singolo oggetto dell'arredamento, anche il progetto più piccolo fiore, dopo essere stato realizzato, è stato distrutto, per regalare un'unicità eterna! Inoltre Linderhof è anche uno splendido giardino e un bosco fitto di abeti scuri che nasconde infinite sorprese e richiami alle opere di Richard Wagner. Un luogo in cui spero di tornare un giorno e che consiglio a tutti di visitare..

A place where I hope to return one day and I recommend everyone to visit ..

Altro regalo che Ludwig ha fatto all'umanità è stata la copia della reggia di Versailles, il Neues Schloss Herrenchiemsee. Replica della famosa reggia del Re Sole che si trova su un isola nel lago di Chiemsee. Si raggiunge in battello è si è catapultati in un'altro sogno sospeso tra sfarzo e decadenza...

Ludwig è stato uno dei pochi Re ha ripudiare la guerra, ha accumulato debiti (ma senza mai spendere soldi pubblici) per finanziare opere d'arte (come la Tetralogia del RING) e castelli meravigliosi che sono arrivati fino a noi, e che subito dopo la sua morte furono aperti al turismo portando introiti alle casse della Germania. 

Ludwig si immaginava come un sovrano assoluto ma pacifico, sognava una Germania ideale ma piena di bellezza, di arte. Preferiva i contadini ai nobili e ai militari... Se il suo sogno non fosse stato interrotto, se invece l'avessero sostenuto forse non avremmo mai avuto le due guerre Mondiali di cui ancora oggi paghiamo le conseguenze...

Ludwig was one of the only King to repudiate the war, he's  accumulated debts (but never spend public money) to finance works of art (such as Tetralogy of RING) and wonderful castles that have come down to us, and that soon after his death were opened to tourism by bringing revenue to the coffers of Germany.

Ludwig imagined as an absolute ruler but peaceful, Germany dreamed of a perfect but full of beauty, art. He preferred the peasants to the nobles and the military ... If his dream had not been interrupted, but if they had argued we might never have had the two world wars which still paying the consequences ...
