After greeting the medieval village of Grazzano Visconti, the next stop is Piacenza. City that soprende: we did not think it was so great and austere, now the sun has set and it is almost at the Halloween party! While waiting, we turn to the center, and the architecture of this city's most captivating!

Throughout this trip I think Eleanor. A friend and one of my favorite bloggers! Especially when I step in front of the store Sephora !!! I dedicate this post to you (and I thank you for the valuable advice of Bobbio and surroundings, but that's another story!)

At Piacenza you also visit the Gallery of Modern Art Ricci Oddi. Another nice surprise. Too bad they can not describe everything, words are not enough, not even photos ... So you have to go there in person! Beautiful find here some of my favorite painters ..

E in questi quadri ho trovato visi familiari, incredibile!

What a thrill to watch these great pictures and find the beauty, the sensitivity (often pain) but also the faces of an Italy that no longer exists, but for a short time, perhaps I saw in my childhood .. And in these paintings I found familiar faces, amazing!

And after an excellent dinner typical Piacenza (Recommended charcuterie, the fried cake - much lighter than the fried dough Tuscan - and wine gutturnio but especially the pumpkin ravioli topped with mushrooms ... yum!) And a little 'rest in "our" apartment, where we saw on TV, "a youth tremendously young," a tribute to Pier Paolo Pasolini, starring Roberto Herlitzka .. Coincidence! Vampire "blood of my blood," we are here this beautiful valley thanks to him! A tribute to Pasolini, All Souls' Day (November 2) will be the fortieth anniversary of his assassination (a massacre of State, like many others, a massacre of State that never ends ..). We are ready to face the night of the witches in the mysterious Castle of Rivalta.

We have no idea of what lies ahead.
The appointment is for the stroke of midnight ...
And we are punctual!

We are moving towards this mysterious place of darkness, our guide is very short-tempered and little loved by the inhabitants of the castles ... Beings no longer living, scary, capricious and very cryptic. The castle is dark, only a few candles illuminate the rarefied atmosphere .. We find that to return to the light we have to bring gifts to the Queen. A queen fell into the trap of eternal beauty, now it's like a porcelain doll: as beautiful as empty. With a crooked rose Marco manages to restore peace in the soul of the Queen ...
Bobbio!

Here we are at the end of our adventure. A halloween really unusual and absolutely dark! A day full of beautiful things, art, food and wonderful nature! Adventures in Trebbia not end there, the next time ... Bobbio!

Quanta arte in questo post Sere! Che bello!!
This wonderful post celebrates two of my favourite things ever: classical art and Halloween, so naturally it was a big hit with me. What a special joy to see so many of those stunning masterpieces. I lingered over each one nearly as long as though I was viewing them in person at a gallery or museum. Thank you so much for sharing, lovely lady.
Big hugs & happy mid-November wishes,
♥ Jessica
Belli i quadri! Sinceramente io so pochissimo sull'arte, conosco solo Van Gogh praticamente.
bellissimi scatti!!!
