Per la serie "letto su Biba" (...) e a parte il mio smalto rovinato e i capelli ancora non domati... Ecco che da questa rivista francese (poco) patinata sbuca una faccia a me familiare: Arielle Dombasle.
Ve la presento (se mai ce ne fosse bisogno) così come cita wikipedia: Arielle Laure Maxime Sonnery de Fromental, in arte Arielle Dombasle (ma va?!) attrice, regista, cantante e sceneggiatrice statunitense di origini francesi. Nota per la sua interpretazione in Pauline à la plage di Eric Rohmer e per la parte interpretata in Miami Vice (dove in "Definitely Miami"ci insegna come farsi notare a bordo piscina, penso uno dei primi tutorial pre youtube!). E se avete dubbi guardate il video qui sotto...!
Insomma esce un suo nuovo album dal titolo "Arielle Dombasle and the Hillibilly Moon Explosion" che visto il trionfo di vintage e revival che ci aspetta in questo autunno, iniziato oggi (Buon Equinozio, eh?!) sembra un titolo appropirato e interessante!
Vedremo, anzi... ascolteremo questa metamorfosi da giovane ragazza rockabilly e diva neo yé-yé... in chiave molto francese!

Miami Vice was the best!!! I loved the show soooo stinking much and still do. I was a huge fan of Don Johnson's next cop drama, Nash Bridges, too, but sadly I don't think it had as a big of a global audience as MV did. Shame, it was every bit as good, IMO.
